2. AI: An Indispensable Component of Material Education

AI is a "great invention" reshaping societies, making AI education critical for 21st-century Material Education. Neglecting AI ignores a primary driver of modern civilization. A modern curriculum must include:

  • AI Literacy: Foundational understanding (e.g., machine learning, data) – the "new 'reading and writing'."
  • Practical Skills: Training in using and developing AI tools for the workforce.
  • Critical Thinking and Innovation: Analyzing AI applications and innovating for societal benefit.

3. Integrating Mo Gawdat's "Scary Smart" Insights
